Each Paelos piece is crafted to be enjoyed for years and to develop character through everyday use.
As with all stoneware, pieces should be handled with care. Dropping or knocking an item may result in chipping, cracking, or breakage.
Avoid sudden and extreme temperature changes, as thermal shock can damage stoneware.
Stoneware may be washed by hand using warm water and detergent and is also dishwasher safe. When using a dishwasher, ensure items are not in contact with one another during the wash cycle.
Over time, surfaces that come into contact with cutlery or other hard materials may show signs of wear. Unglazed areas may also become smoother with use. These changes are a natural part of the stoneware’s life and character and not a manufacturing defect.
To help protect surfaces during storage, place a soft cloth between stacked items.
